What is recorded here

Originally recorded as a convex band of five roundwoods extending at an acute angle into an ENE drain face (exposed L 3.6m; Wth 2.4m). The largest roundwood may have been split, though this was not certain due to its poor condition. Approximately six pieces of brushwood (diam. 0.03-0.04m) lay on top of the central roundwood (diam. 0.03-0.15m). There were no visible toolmarks and no remains visible in the opposite drain face (Dunne 1999, 26, 99DBNW024A) Excavation yielded a date of 1207-1130 BC (Whitaker 2009, 31).
