In a valley overlooking a small stream. Excavated in 2007 in advance of the N9/N10 Kilcullen to Waterford road improvement scheme (Licence no. E3616). A possible temporary shelter (4.7m E-W; 1.8m N-S) comprising 6 post-holes and two stake-holes forming a semicircular shape arced around another post-hole. Three pits were found in association with the structure; one yielded burnt bone while the other yielded a piece of struck flint.
