What is recorded here
Graveslab in Dalgan, County Offaly, is an empty name in the official archive, a gap where a dead person’s marker should be. The omission does not erase the stone or the life it recorded. It exposes the archive as a sieve, dropping what it cannot categorise while claiming completeness. Dalgan keeps its own record in soil, memory and the shapes men still point to.
No reference to a graveslab in the ASI file (National Monuments Service Archive).
