What is recorded here

Cushinsheeaun still hides a crannog, though much of its story has faded from local memory. The name suggests a small island or raised place near water, the kind of landmark people could see at a glance. If so, it may have marked a boundary, a meeting place or a home before the land changed around it. What is missing is not nothing; it is the part of the story that has slipped away.
