What is recorded here

One meter seven of grey rock stands in a Cork pasture, its rectangular body narrowing slightly against the southern sky. It has watched sheep move and storms pass since before human memory, steady as a forgotten promise. The stone does not need a name or a date to be real. It is still there, unbroken and patient, waiting for someone to notice it without fearing what it might mean.

In pasture, on gentle S-facing slope. Stone (H 1.07m; 0.32m x 0.18m) is rectangular in plan, narrowing slightly towards top, long axis E-W.
