Situated on a slight natural rise in gently undulating pasture-land, with good views from NE-E-S-SW. Ringfort (WM008-037----) 400m to S. Depicted on the 1837 ed. OS 6-inch map as a sub-circular shaped area (approx. diam. 48m N-S; 47m E-W), the E side of the monument intersected by a laneway running N-S. This monument has been almost completely levelled, with only a tree-lined scarp visible from W-NW.
