Indicated is a D-shaped fairy fort on the west summit of a Monaghan drumlin ridge, its curved scarp rising nearly two metres above the grass. The 1834 map drew a road looping around the surviving enclosure, suggesting people still travelled past the fort long after its purpose faded. The straight field bank at the northeast truncates the shape, erasing the entrance and hiding the fort inside ordinary farmland.

Situated on the W summit of an E-W drumlin ridge. It is depicted on the 1834 edition of the OS 6-inch map as a road or path curving around SE-W-NW the surviving portion of an enclosure that is described as a ‘fort’ and as a D-shaped feature on the 1907 edition. This is a D-shaped grass-covered area (dims c. 36m NW-SE; 19m NE-SW) defined by a curving scarp (at SW: Wth 1.2m; H 1.6m; at WNW: H 1.7m) and hedge SSE-NW and a straight NW-SE field bank at NE that truncates the NE part of the monument of which there is no visible evidence in pasture. There is no visible fosse or evidence of an entrance in the surviving portion.
