What is recorded here

Bullaun is a worn stone marker inside an old church hollow in County Mayo, Ireland. Its shallow cup may have collected rain, held oil, or marked a place of prayer long before the building disappeared. The flat land and missing walls suggest people kept returning to this spot because the stone still meant something.

In an ecclesiastical enclosure (MA082-035004-). An irregular-shaped block of stone (c. 0.7m x 0.5m; H c. 0.4m) with a roughly circular depression (diam. 0.27m; D 0.1m) in its upper surface. It is located on a raised area in the centre of the ecclesiastical enclosure, within a rectangular hollow which preserves the outline of a church (MA082-035001-).
