Crannog in Lough Conn

Crannog

What is recorded here

Crannog in Lough Conn is an artificial island in County Mayo, Ireland. The water may have hidden its edges from passing boats, giving whoever lived there a quiet place to watch the shore while remaining half-swallowed by the lake.
