Fairy fort in Craggs, County Limerick: a circular embankment about twenty-five metres across, drawn on the 1841 Ordnance Survey map and now swallowed by briars and furze on a gentle east-facing slope. It may have been a dwelling, a boundary marker or a place for ritual, but the scrub has erased the entrance and every angle that would have given it back. What remains is a hidden ring, waiting to be imagined rather than measured.
