Embanked enclosure is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Corralara, County Roscommon, Ireland. It occupies a gentle SE-facing slope as a circular grass-covered area measuring 33.5m east-west and 32m north-south. An earthen bank with bushes and an outer fosse define the perimeter, while a separate external bank NE-SSE joins a field bank NNW-NE. A 5.7m entrance cuts the outer bank and a 5m causeway marks the SE entrance.
On a gentle SE-facing slope. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 33.5m E-W; 32m N-S) defined by an earthen bank with some bushes (Wth 6.5m at S to 8.5m at W; int. H 0.5m at S to 1.5m at W; ext. H 1.65 at E to 2m at W) and an outer fosse (Wth of top 9.2-10.5m; D 0.2-0.6m). An external bank (Wth 7-8.2m; int. H 0.85-1m; ext. H 1.1m) NE-SSE is incorporated into a field bank NNW-NE. There is an entrance (Wth 5.7m) through the outer bank and a causeway (Wth 5m) at SE. Rath (RO011-090002-) is immediately to the W. The possible standing stone (RO011-152----) is c. 130m to the ESE.
