E.R. monogram letterbox, c. 1905, set in random limestone wall formerly wall of Bishop's Palace.
Fine example of an early-twentieth century letterbox, complete with monogram. Significant as one of a group, and having value as functional industrial design, and for the overall character of streetscape.
