What is recorded here

Terraced two-bay four-storey former house, built c. 1830. Now vacant and with vacant retail outlet to ground floor. Pitched slate roof with remains of rendered chimneystack. Rendered walls with display windows inserted to ground floor, c. 1970. Replacement uPVC windows to upper floors. Round-headed door opening with replacement timber panelled door and fanlight.
Though many notable features and materials have been replaced, the scale and form of this former house make a positive contribution to the streetscape. The building forms part of an interesting group of imposing former houses, with the three four-storey buildings to the west.
