Pair of semi-detached five-bay two-storey houses, built c.1800. Various returns and extensions to rear. Projecting porch to west house. Pitched slate roofs with rendered chimneystacks. Rendered walls. Square-headed openings. Rubble stone boundary walls to rear (north).

A fine pair which is notable for its long, horizontal form and regular classically inspired proportions. It was built in the nineteenth century in an area which was growing in popularity as a fashionable suburb. In common with the historic houses in the area, this pair is set on an elevated south facing site, and is orientated to maximise river views and light.
