Cloughaun Dallaun, or the stone of the standing stones, stood near Walshestown until removal, leaving behind a smaller stone beside a fence that may be its original body. The name repeats itself like a breath caught in rock, suggesting either a cluster of monuments or a community that spoke plainly about what it saw. Its northeast axis and proximity to a burial ground hint at rituals now forgotten, while the empty pasture holds the shape of what was taken.
