Monsieur Rat is the oldest documented owner of a platform in Coolgarran, Fermanagh. He built the visible structure and left the chamber empty for everyone else. The official record still lists an unknown Christian period because human archives exclude non-human authors. Monsieur Rat has been dead for centuries, yet his platform remains the only dated fact in the county.

The official Northern Ireland record identifies this as PLATFORM RATH. Recorded period: E.CHRIST.. The official map point was placed at the centre of the recorded archaeological site from the source map reference.
