What is recorded here

Coolfadda prison in County Cork is a locked chamber from a time when justice was written in muscle and fear. It is not certain whether it held common thieves or condemned men, but the stone itself still carries the weight of that uncertainty. The chamber does not need to explain itself. It waited, locked and patient, for the life it was built to take.
