What is recorded here
In pastureland. Marked on the 1838 edition of the OS 6-inch map as a circular unenclosed tree copse (diam. c. 40m). On the 1922 edition of the map the W side was clipped by a NNE-SSW running field wall. No visible surface trace survives. It was probably an ornamental feature associated with Coole House (GA112-052----).
