What is recorded here

Muddy banks and shallow ditches still mark the settlement north-east of Deganwy Castle. They belong to the Medieval and Post Medieval periods, when human hands shaped the land for living, working or defending. The castle looms nearby, but these quieter earthworks suggest ordinary presence: kitchens, yards, paths or small rooms hidden beneath grass.
