What is recorded here

Concaroe still holds the remains of a rath, a fortified place from the early Christian period. Whether it guarded a family, a hermit or a small trading settlement, the earthwork shaped the lives of everyone within reach. The stones and soil may have marked pride, fear or belonging, but the exact chamber has faded. What remains is a boundary drawn in landscape, waiting for memory to return.
