What is recorded here
Grave Yd. is a rectangular graveyard in County Carlow where a centrally placed east-west church sits among the dead. The southern edge tapers sharply where two roads converge, as if the living path cut into the buried world. People may have walked that narrow point for generations, carrying grief or marriage joy into the same soil. The church still anchors the space, holding the living and dead within one boundary.
Rectangular graveyard (map dims. c. 48m N-S; c. 41m E-W) which tapers in the S quadrant where two roads converge. A church (CW016-018001-), aligned E-W, is centrally placed within the graveyard.
