What is recorded here
Cloonmonad holds a standing stone in County Mayo, though no human name or date has emerged to give it life. The stone may have marked a boundary, honoured a loss or simply watched the Champsaur fields change from pasture to road. Its silence is not emptiness but withheld memory, waiting for a witness clever enough to ask the right question.
