What is recorded here

Cashlaunnatreenode is a roughly circular enclosure on a glacial knoll in County Galway, measuring forty-two metres across. Its scarp, fosse and faint outer bank still mark the boundary, while a castle occupies the interior. The southern gap may be modern, but the rest suggests deliberate defence or exclusion. People likely lived, worked or withheld entry within that small circle, shaping the land into a place others had to approach on its own terms.

On a glacial knoll in grassland. Roughly circular enclosure (D 42m), in fair condition, defined by a scarp and intervening fosse with traces of an outer bank at SE. Gap at S may be modern.
