Closed chambers and hidden passages may have formed a secret estate beneath the hill. The cacheel stands in broad daylight, but the real room may still exist below the grass. A person could have built the entrance, covered it and walked away. The hill keeps the shape of that choice.

In a cashel (MA063-026----). According to local tradition, there is Man-made underground passage in the cashel. A slight rise (diam. c. 5-6m) in the centre of the cashel interior is defined on its S edge by a row of c. 4 medium-sized stones. This may indicated the location of the Man-made underground passage.
