Indicated is a rectangular cashel in County Clare, Ireland, holding two houses inside a double-faced stone wall. It sits near the bottom of a south-facing slope, tucked into rough pasture where the view remains restricted. The western edge of its south wall has lost its outer face, leaving a later drystone structure built across the gap.

Near the bottom of a S-facing slope, with restricted views, in rough pasture within a large multiperiod field system (CL009-059001-). Indicated on the OS 25-inch plan (1897) and 1920 ed. of the OS 6-inch map. Listed as ‘Enclosure’ in the RMP (1996). This rectangular cashel (30.5m ENE-WSW; 29.75m NNW-SSE) is defined by a double-faced stone wall (Wth at E 2.3m; int. H 0.5m; ext. H 0.8m) with rounded corners. The flush outer wall-face, composed of quite large horizontally laid stones (L c. 0.5m; Wth 0.5m; H 0.2m), is absent at the W end of the S side. A later drystone wall (H c. 0.6m) is built over the outer wall-face. The inner wall-face is only traceable on the E side. There is a spread of rubble (H 0.5m; total Wth 4.4-6.6m) against the inner and outer wall-faces. A possible entrance (Wth 2.7m) lies at the S end of the E wall, defined by two lines through the wall rubble. There are two houses within the cashel interior: one (CL009-059112-) against the W side, and another (CL009-059113-) in the SE corner. Another cashel (CL009-059081-) lies c. 74m to the NW.
