What is recorded here
Indicated is a fairy fort in County Mayo, an earthen ring where human history thins into myth. The grass may hide a doorway, a buried hall or a room for visitors who do not breathe. People who lived nearby may have avoided it at night, not from cowardice but from the expectation that ordinary rules stop at its edge.
