Sweat Ho is a roofless circular chamber on the western bank of a Leitrim stream, marked as a sweat house only on the 1910 OS map. Its narrow northern entrance is now blocked, yet the preserved mound and cramped interior suggest people once gathered there to endure heat, darkness and breath shared in a small space. The abandoned farmhouse nearby implies a lost domestic world in which this ho served a purpose now reduced to stone, memory and map ink.

Indicated as a sweat house only on the 1910 ed. of the OS 6-inch map. It is situated on the W bank of a S-N stream, at the outer edge of a shelf, and c. 50m SW of an abandoned farmhouse. This s a circular roofless chamber (int. diam. 1.3m; max. H 1.3m) with the surrounding mound (diam. 3.4m N-S; 3m E-W; H 0.3m at S to 1.5m at N). The entrance (Wth 0.5m; H 0.4m), now blocked, is at N.
