What is recorded here
Inidcated is a fairy fort in County Mayo, an earthen ring where the boundary between human law and old magic grows thin. People may have built it for storage, prayer or shelter, but the name suggests they later surrendered it to something older and less reasonable. The ridge still stands because resistance is not the same as understanding.
