Described by Du Noyer (1858, 13-4) as a double clochaun, with one circular clochaun partitioned internally, and the 2nd clochaun having 2 chambers connected by a low passage. A flight of steps outside the former appeared to lead to the roof. The above description is derived from J. Cuppage, ‘Corca Dhuibhne. Dingle Peninsula archaeological survey. Ballyferriter.
