Cave is a man-made underground passage in County Cork, Ireland, running 400 yards through solid earth. Local tradition claims monks of Kilnamanagh Church used it decades before the 1940s, though no human bones or tools have surfaced to prove it. The narrow darkness still smells of wet stone and forgotten breath, inviting curiosity rather than certainty.

In churchyard c.20m E of church (CO114-025001-). Passage (Wth 1.37m; H 1.52m) opened and investigated for 400 yards in 1940s. Tradition that passage was used by monks of Kilnamanagh Church (CO114-026002-) c. 90m to SE.(McCarthy 1977, 327).
