Situated inside a 19th tree plantation on the demesne lands of Clonhugh House located 530m to NW. On a slight rise of ground on the E shore of Lough Owel. Sweathouse (WM011-108---) 180m to SE. A level sub-circular shaped area (approx. diam. 32m N-S; 26m E-W) enclosed by two earthen banks and a wide intervening fosse. The outer bank is only visible from NW-N-S.
