Childrens Burial Ground lies east of a church gable in County Galway, marked on a 1933 map as a small rectangular field of parallel stone rows. A sycamore rises through its centre while loose stones scatter across the soil, suggesting time or handling has disturbed the markings. The place retains the quiet severity of a childhood ending, with adult worship and child death separated only by a wall and a few paces of earth.

Marked on the 1933 edition of the OS 6-inch map as a rectangular children's burial ground (c. 20m N-S; c. 15m E-W) immediately to the E of the E gable of a church (GA084-006002-). A field boundary marks its E limits. The burials are marked by small set stones which appear to indicate that they were arranged in parallel rows running N-S, however, a number of the stones have been uprooted and are lying loose on the ground (Cody 1989, 310-11, no. 143).
