Childrens Burial Gd. marked the north side of a Galway road before quarrying removed every trace. Maps drawn in 1948 still pointed to the grassland where infant bodies rested, but the hunger of extraction erased the marker and the memory alike. What remains is a hollow certainty: the ground took small lives, then the ground itself disappeared.

On N side of a road in grassland. Marked on 3rd ed. of OS 6-inch map (1948) as a CBG. As the entire area has been quarried out, no visible surface trace survives.
