What is recorded here

One chamber in a four-opening limestone quarry wall holds an entire early medieval household. Coleman dug in 1942 and found iron, bronze, worked bone, worked stone, bird bones, fish shells, charcoal and both kept and hunted animal remains. That is not a dramatic disaster cache; it is ordinary life, repeated until the cave itself became a room.
