What is recorded here

Indicated is a fairy fort in County Mayo, an oval earthen ring with a stone-topped bank and a narrow eastern gap. It still holds the shape of a small human life, perhaps a circular hut inside, while pasture and road press around it. The fort does not need a warning label; it shows its own boundary and waits for someone to notice the difference between empty field and inhabited place.

In undulating pasture. Oval-shaped area (39m N-S; 28m E-W), enclosed by an earthen bank (H 1.3m), topped with stone W to SE. Gap in ESE (Wth 1m).
