Swallow Hole

Swallow Hole is a cave in County Cavan, Ireland. Maybe swallows still dive into the dark throat of Cavan at dusk, carrying crumbs of bread and secrets of the living world into the earth. Perhaps the cave returns them changed, with feathers dampened by underground rain and memories of chambers no human tongue has named.
