Carran Mine Cave lies in the south-eastern Burren, County Clare, where water still moves through ancient stone. It joined the Cullaun caves and Badger Hole in a 2016 survey, not as a grand discovery but as a living shape that needed measuring again. The Burren keeps its caves small, sharp and changeable, carrying rain, memory and human curiosity into the same dark space.
