At the crest of the SE-facing slope of a hill. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 31.1m N-S; 30.9m E-W) defined by a flat-topped earthen bank (Wth of base 4.4m at N to 5.4m at W; Wth of top 1.1m at N to 2.5m at W; int. H 0.4m at N to 0.8m generally) which survives everywhere except ENE-SE. It is surrounded by a flat-bottomed fosse (Wth of top 5.9-7.2m; Wth of base 2.8-3.5m; D 0.2m NW-NE to 0.6-0.9m generally) which contains some bushes and an outer bank Wth 1-3m; H 0.1-0.2m) composed largely of field stones. There is an entrance (Wth 3m) and causeway (Wth 4m) at SE, and the interior is overlain by a WNW-ESE field bank N of the centre. The fosse is eroded and the outer bank missing N of this feature.
