Grave Yard in Commons, County Kildare, is a small stone-walled graveyard beside a restored medieval church, not a forgotten patch of grass. The church holds an effigial tomb, and the whole place sits at the eastern end of a low spur dropping toward the River Liffey. It is the kind of spot where older belief, later burial and local memory have all been folded into one quiet address.

At the E end of a low spur with a short steep fall to the River Liffey to the E. A rectangular area (c. 40m NE-SW; c. 30m NW-SE) contains a restored medieval church (KD028-022----), which contains an effigial tomb (KD028-022001-). Compiled by: Gearóid Conroy Date of upload: 26 November 2012
