Grave Yd occupies the north end of Timolgegue, a stone-walled rectangle where headstones stretch from the late 18th century to the present. A Church of Ireland building stands at its centre, raised upon the footprint of an earlier church, suggesting continuous worship across generations. The dead have crowded this small ground for centuries, their markers pressing against the wall like patients waiting for a doctor.
