Cashel is a limestone ringfort on the western edge of the Tullyskeherny plateau in County Leitrim, Ireland. Its grass-covered circle measures nearly twenty-three metres across and stands beside a four-to-five-metre cliff. A narrow southern entrance opens onto possible hut remains, suggesting people lived there before the stones became a fairy fort in local memory. The fort still holds its shape against the open sky, waiting for someone to walk through its small gate and discover what it kept.

Located at the W edge of a rise on the broad plateau of Tullyskeherny, with a cliff (H c. 4-5m) immediately to the W. Grass-covered subcircular area (int. dims 22.9m N-S; 20.4m E-W) defined by a drystone-built limestone wall with facing-stones (at SW: Wth 2.15m; H 1m; max. H 1.3m). The entrance (Wth 0.95m) is at SSW with the possible remains of a hut site adjacent to it in the interior. See the attached aerial view taken from the E.
