Indicated is a faded Galway ringfort where a field wall now crosses an ancient bank, yet a hidden passage still cuts through the earth beneath the grass. The fort has surrendered most of its shape to time and farming, but the underground tunnel preserves the intent of the people who built it. They may have fled storms, hidden treasure or simply walked below the ground to reach another chamber without being seen.

On a rise in undulating grassland. Very poorly preserved roughly circular rath (D 34m) defined by a bank. A field wall overlies the monument from NE through S to WNW.
