Fairy fort / stone ringfort in Carrownamaddoo (carbury By., Rossinver West Ed) is a fairy fort or stone ringfort in Carrownamaddoo (carbury By., Rossinver West Ed), County Sligo, Ireland. The circular area measures 21 metres across and sits on a moderate north-facing slope in upland pasture. A relic drystone wall bisects the site, while two roughly rectangular sheep pens occupy the angle between the remodelled inner bank face and the field wall. No entrance or fosse remains recognisable.
Situated on a moderate N-facing slope upland pasture. Circular area (diam. 21m) defined by a bank (Wth 4.6m; int. H 1.3m; ext. H 1.1m). No fosse now visible. The site is bisected by a NE-SW orientated relic drystone wall. The inner side of the bank has been rebuilt to form a vertical face ENE-W. Two roughly rectangular sheep pens (dims. c.2m by 4m) have been built in the angle between the re-modelled inner face of the cashel bank and the NW side of the field wall.
