Embanked enclosure is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Carrownaknockaun, County Roscommon, Ireland. It occupies the crest of a low east-west ridge and measures about thirty-eight metres north-south and thirty-six and a half metres east-west. An overgrown earthen bank, surmounted by a drystone wall, defines the circular perimeter without a visible fosse or entrance. A man-made underground passage lies inside the southeast boundary.

On the crest of a low E-W ridge. Circular overgrown area (diam. 38m N-S; 36.5m E-W) defined by an overgrown earthen bank (at N: Wth 5.4m; int. H 0.3m; ext. H 0.9m; at W: Wth 7m; int. H 0.8m; ext. H 3.4m) which is surmounted by a drystone wall. There is no visible fosse or entrance. Man-made underground passage (RO013-012002-) is inside the perimeter at SE.
