Earthwork in Carrownaknockaun is an earthwork in Carrownaknockaun, County Roscommon, Ireland. The D-shaped platform measures 28m NE-SW and 10m NW-SW, bounded by a 0.5-0.8m scarp and a 2.2m-wide earthen bank separated from the edge by a 1m berm. A NE-SW farm track has truncated its SE section, while a local tradition claims it served as a children's burial ground, though no burial evidence exists.

Marked only on the 1914 ed. of the OS 6-inch map as an oval feature (dims c. 25m NE-SW; c. 20m NW-SE), and situated on low-lying ground with a NW-SE stream c. 200m to the NE. D-shaped grass and scrub-covered platform (dims 28m NE-SW; 10m NW-SW) defined by a scarp (H 0.5-0.8m) with a grass-covered earthen bank (Wth 2.2m; int. H 0.6m; ext. H 0.5m) separated by a berm (Wth 1m) from the edge of the platform at NW. It has been truncated at SE by the building of a NE-SW farm track.
