What is recorded here

Indicated is a lost circular enclosure on a slight rise in County Mayo, remembered locally as a ringfort but now levelled beyond visible proof. It may have been a home, a boundary marker or a place of gathering, yet the land itself has erased the answer. What remains is a shape on old maps and a story passed between people who walked the pasture before the ground forgot them.
