What is recorded here
Carrickrobin preserves a possible hut site inside a ringfort, marked only by a shallow four-metre depression. That little dip may have held a family, a guard, a weaver or a forgotten keeper of the castle. The land has kept the shape long after the wood, rope and life disappeared.
Possible hut site represented by shallow depression (diam. 4m) in centre of ringfort (LH006-029001-).
