Carrickanurroo holds a broad oval platform on a prominent hillock, its edges marked only by a slight scarp and faint masonry in the northeast. The absence of a visible entrance or ditch suggests the boundary was never meant to keep out everyone, but to shape how people moved across the grass. It is the kind of place where memory arrives before understanding, inviting you to walk its edge and imagine the hands that first laid its stones.

Located on a prominent hillock in an undulating landscape. This is an overgrown oval platform (dims 33m N-S; 28m E-W) defined by a slight scarp. There are slight traces of a masonry structure in the NE quadrant, but there is no visible fosse or identifiable original entrance.
