What is recorded here

A penal-style granite cross, presently displayed at a road junction c. 300m to the NE (WX045-037003-) is thought to have come originally from the graveyard attached to Carrick church site (WX045-036001-). This cross (H 0.77m; Wth of arms 0.44m; T 0.11m) has a cross inscribed in the head, but any other inscription is illegible. The stem is cracked across below the crux, and the head expands in width above the crux. Compiled by: Michael Moore Date of upload: 22 July, 2013
