Hut site in Canagullen

Within the NE sector of an enclosure (KE111-025001-). The remains of a circular hut site (diam. c. 3.2m) defined by the lower course of a drystone wall (T c. 0.6m), the stones of which protrude above the bog. The hut site is built up (H 0.3m) externally at SE and cut (D 0.6m) into the upslope at NW. A large prostrate stone slab externally abuts the NE arc. Rubble is scattered downslope to the SE. Another hut site (KE111-025002-) is 24m to the NNE. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Kerry.
